Blue lagoon cafe Highly recommend this place. I’ve been there several times and every time I met a smily, very hospitable and friendly cafe owner Dom. The food is always very tasty and fresh, you can choose a spicy level or even ask not spicy. My favorite Glass noodle seafood spicy salad contains a lot of seafood, you can see it on the photo. Prices are also good, especially a drink menu prices. Another positive is that you are indoors with a fan or air conditioner, rather than outdoors near a busy, dusty road.

A Thai food & seafood restaurant, with modest decor and friendly service staff. I ordered a mango juice and pork fried rice. Delicious!! The fried rice was flavourful. The mango juice was refreshing. You can come here for meals or beer.

27/12/22 Blue Lagoon over the last decade has been a fantastic place to eat. There's easy parking just behind the 7/11 and over the covid period they have done refurbishment and added AC which is a nice change of pace. As a long time patron it feels sad to see the place struggle, dont let the empty tables fool you, they do the best thai dishes this side of Phuket. This is especially true if you ask for Thai Spicy, they will give you proper spicy but at the same time still full of flavour. The Massaman at the blue lagoon is my favorite on the whole island and their penang is fantastic too. Excuse the pictures of the food on my plate rather than in the bowl but its just so tasty I dug in right away and was practically licking the serving plates clean at the end. Not to mention its good price, cheap we were able to feed 4 people for just 650 baht including drinks that's basically £15. 5/5 can't recommend enough, they also do take away! Please show my favorite restaurant some support! But have patience for this family run restaurant, they're trying their best.

From the outside this restaurant may not look as inviting as some of the others, but looks can be deceiving. Once you step inside the cool air-conditioned room you're made to feel welcome immediately. It's a family run place, so everything may take a little while, but the wait is well worth it. The food is super delicious, and the Penang and Massuman curries are some of the best. Fresh ingredients, authentic, and perfectly spiced to your liking, and very, very flavourful. You finish the meal with the usual complimentary fruit platter. During our stay in Surin we frequented this place regularly - also for takeaway food. We've never been disappointed. The the prices are very reasonable as well.
